SAVE MATH - Urgent Action

I have written before about Save Math and the California Math Framework. Currently, AB 1217 and AB 500 are pending in the State Legislature, and we need intelligent voices to push back.

Y Combinator CEO Garry Tan explains the issues in great detail here.

Garry’s call to action is:

1) Contact your state legislators to voice your opposition to AB 1217 and AB 500.

2) Ask your legislators to support an oversight hearing to enforce conflict of interest policies at the CA Dept of Ed against revenue-generating curriculum creators like Stanford’s Jo Boaler who grift public schools for 5 and 6 figures while influencing curricular frameworks for CA public schools.
